About: Dr. Khalid Z. Elwakeel holds a Ph.D. in Physical Environmental Chemistry. He is Associate Professor of Environmental Chemistry at Port-Said University, Egypt, and is currently affiliated as a Professor at University of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. His recognitions include the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Award for Environmental Management in the Islamic World (2017, first prize under the “Best Research” category, ISESCO), the Egyptian Order of Distinction (First Class) from the President of Egypt for scientific achievements (2017), the Egyptian Encouragement Prize in Chemical Sciences, the Misr El-Kheir Award for Best Publication (2013), and the Professor Dr. Faiza Al-Kharafi Award in Basic Science.

About: Prof. (Dr) Sabu Thomas—a highly distinguished scientist holding D.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees, and a Fellow of both the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and the European Academy of Sciences (FEurASc)—currently serves as the Chairman of the Trivandrum Engineering Science & Technology Research Park (TrEST Research Park). He is the Former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi University in Kottayam, Kerala, India, where he has built a massive legacy in scientific education and research. Currently, he leads multiple key institutions as the Director of the School of Energy Materials, the School of Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, and the International and Inter-University Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. His foundational leadership at the university also includes his previous role as the Former Director of the School of Chemical Sciences and his work as the visionary Founder of the School of Polymer Science and Technology.
